How does it work?

Step 1: Choose how many manuals you want to start with. You can always buy more later as your business grows.
 
Step 2: Choose to have your package with or without accreditation. Including it in your start-up pack will save you money.

Step 3: Choose from one of our paperwork packs. These packs contain all you need to be legally compliant. Our policies and procedures pack includes all the information needed for your students to pass the accreditation process. Our full business paperwork pack includes our policies and procedures and all paperwork required to run a legally compliant business. 

Once you place your order you will need to send us an email with your order number and the manuals and powerpoints that you want us to send over.

What happens next?

Once we receive your order and the list of manuals you require, we upload these files to Dropbox, where you can download them. Files are sent over within 2-3 business days of receiving your order.

Once you receive these files, please download and save them to your own computer and keep a backup - just in case! Salon Expert is not responsible for replacing lost files after 30 days of purchase, so please keep your files safe!

Accreditation 

Alongside your files, you will also receive an email with access to an online portal for our partner accreditation company Centre of CPD Excellence. You will need to complete the questionnaire on the portal within 30 days of purchase and email over copies of your certificates of qualification, your teaching qualification and your business logo. You can view this accreditation company here.

Accreditation takes 7-14 days to be approved. Once approved, you will be able to start teaching. Accreditation is for 12 months and is renewable directly with Centre of CPD Excellence themselves. Renewal fees are as follows, and will be invoiced 12 months after the start date:

1-5 Courses - £199
6-10 Courses - £349
11-20 Courses - £549
Your renewal fee will be for the maximum number of courses you have listed.

FAQ's

Q - Can I edit the manuals and powerpoints?
A - Yes, in-fact we encourage this as it adds your own unique character to the manual. You can also just add a logo or you can add, delete or edit any section as you please. Files are downloaded in Microsoft Word,  PowerPoint or Excel.

Q - Can I give copies to my students?
A - Yes, the manuals are designed for you to use and hand out to students on their training day. You can print off as many copies as you like.

Q - Can I use these as part of a franchise or allow other trainers to use them for a fee?
A - No, unfortunately we do not have an option for this currently. The manuals are for you to use in your own centre or centres that you work from.

Q - Will it be my own company?
A - Yes, you will need your own company name and all the accreditation will be processed on your own business details. You are just purchasing the resources from us to get established.

Q - Do I need to pay you a percentage of my profits or a per-student fee?
A - No, once you have ordered your bespoke package, there are no further fees, unless of course, you choose to add more courses later down the line.

Q- Who issues the students with their certificates?
A - This will be done by you once the student meets your criteria for passing a course. These are easy to design on Canva.com.
